TAWAU: Police here have busted the Ali Baba Gang suspected involved in a burglary with the arrest of three men in separate raids last Friday.
Tawau district police chief, ACP Jasmin Hussin, said the first suspect, a local, 21, was arrested in Kg Inderasabah which led to the confiscation of a set of speakers.
It led to the arrest of the second suspect, who is a foreigner, in his 30s, in the same village and the police confiscated more items.
“The third suspect, a local in his 60s, was nabbed in Kg Wakuba and led to seizure of an amplifier and a computer,” he said.
All suspects and items were taken to the police station for further investigation in accordance with Section 457 of the Penal Code for committing housebreaking and Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 for illegal entry to the country.
