SUKAU: Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak, the Election Director for Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN), has expressed confidence in BN retaining the Sukau seat.
He said that this confidence stems from the strong track record of the current Sukau assemblyman, Datuk Jafry Arifin, and the community’s appreciation for his contributions.
“Datuk Jafry has done a great job for the people. His commitment and efforts at the grassroots level are evident and valued.
“BN believes that voters will continue to back a representative who genuinely works for them,” he stated.
Salleh, who is also the Usukan assemblyman, made these remarks at the Jelajah Radu Tatap Radu event held here tonight.
The Radu Tatap Radu event in Sukau attracted over 500 local residents, including many young supporters, demonstrating strong grassroots backing for BN.
Salleh emphasised that the main message of BN’s campaign is prioritising the people.
“Sabahan No. 1 is more than just a slogan—it’s our promise. The people of Sukau and all of Sabah deserve a government that listens, acts, and honours their aspirations,” he added.
The Jelajah Radu Tatap Radu tour will proceed across Sabah, concentrating on engaging with grassroots communities, particularly among youth and first-time voters
