KOTA KINABALU, July 12 (Bernama) — An express bus driver and a female passenger were injured after being involved in an accident on Jalan Ranau-Kundasang yesterday.
Ranau Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) chief Rantey Fred said the accident involved an express bus driven by a 64-year-old man and a Proton Saga.
“The injured passenger was a Chinese national in her 30s who was on the bus carrying 22 passengers,” he said when contacted here today.
Rantey said the Ranau BBP received an emergency call at about 10.16 pm before heading to the scene of the incident 17 km away.
He said the injured and unconscious victim was given initial treatment at the scene before being taken to the Ranau Hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
