Kota Kinabalu: Martalinanona Johanis could not hide her joy that her daughter Crisnanalina was finally accepted into Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and the turn of events barely 48 hours after the Daily Express reported on her situation.
“It is her first time in this new place. I reminded Nana to take care of herself and to follow the university’s rules,” said Martalinanona, 37, who accompanied Nana to her new surroundings Friday evening, after an overland 12-hr trip from her Kg Dalamas home in Paitan, Sandakan.
