KOTA KINABALU (Oct 23): Maktab Nasional has officially been awarded the five-star rating for SKIP 2024 (Standard Kualiti Institusi Pendidikan Swasta).
This award is accorded based on the ministry’s assessment of 15 criteria including institutional registration, curriculum management, teaching and learning, evaluation examination management, teacher management and development, student health management, discipline, standards, academic excellence, co-curricular accomplishments, student achievement, school character, curriculum, cleanliness and cheerfulness.
The Ministry of Education’s five-star rating is the highest available and is awarded to schools that achieve exceptionally high standard SKIPS rating certificates which were presented to selected institutions during a ceremony held on September 28 in Sunway International School, Subang Jaya.
According to Marie Yong Pik Hua, the principal of Maktab Nasional, this incredible milestone achievement would not have been possible without the relentless passion, dedication and teamwork of the teachers, students, supportive parents and staff as well as the Trustee and the Board of Governors of the school.
Maktab Nasional will continue to provide quality education that comply with the quality standards set by the Education Ministry.
